Lauren Beers Stanton
Director of Gymnastics, Preschool, Recreation, and Team Coach
Lauren Beers Stanton brings over sixteen years of competitive gymnastics experience as well as over five years of combined coaching experience. As a competitive gymnast, she reached the highest level possible of Senior International Elite where she competed at the US National Championship twice in her career. Lauren competed at the JO National Championships a total of five times and competed as an elite gymnast for four years. Upon finishing high school, Lauren moved to Tuscaloosa where she received a full athletic scholarship to compete on the University of Alabama’s Gymnastics Team. During her time on the team, she was a part of both the 2014 and 2015 SEC Championships. With a combined total of seven NCAA All-American honors, three Academic All-American honors (the most possible), and three-time winner of the Elite 90 Award (She currently holds the record for the most ever won by any NCAA Gymnast.). Her coaching experience includes all levels, everything from preschool classes, to being a student coach for Alabama Gymnastics. She has coached our TAG’s optional level program to include multiple state champions, multi-year regional qualifications, and a qualification to USAG’s Developmental Program National Championship. She has been with TAG since July of 2019.
Annette Krucina
Director of Recreational Gymnastics
Annette is a native of Trussville where she lives with her husband and two daughters. She is originally from North Carolina but moved to Alabama 12 years ago. She has a Business degree and an Ultrasound degree which she practiced for many years before becoming a stay at home mom. She was a competitive gymnast for 6 years when she was younger and said it was the best six years of her youth. Gymnastics gave me confidence in myself. Some of the things gymnastics taught her include determination, perseverance, responsibility, and teamwork. It also helped her become more outgoing. She has been coaching at TAG since our grand opening in August of 2019.
